We arrived at a school 120km West of Khorat - it was both a primary and a high-school. These kids (year 7, 8 and 9) were really motivated and had lots of English. The morning session ran really smoothly. We did the Christmas skit and some language exercises. The bible college students ran some games and taught them some songs.

We decided that their English was good enough for us to break up into groups and ask us questions. The group that had the most questions in English would win.

One kid asked Julian if he could drive - so he pulled out his drivers license and they were fascinated. Jono's group of girls asked if he was married & he started a series of long spiels about Lauren, interjected by questions.

Most groups got about 12/13 questions in English. Jono's group got 26 questions.
