4 DEC - 8:50PM (THAI) - (12:50PM SYD)
With our hats on our heads we strode our to meet Craig in the airport. Please pray for him. His baggage got lost at Sydney, with little prospect of it turning up. (Suspect sticker didn't make it onto the bag). On top of that, his phone refused to roam (unlike the rest of us) which holds him back from organising team stuff.
Apart from that, we met the Sampsons at the airport and piled into taxis. We burned down a suspended freeway for about 25km at 140km/h and came down the ramp to the district of our hotel. Our taxi driver proceeded to take us through alleys, back streets, hotel driveways and a hospital car park in his efforts to get us there in the most efficient way possible. Our hotel in Bangkok was the Woraburi Sukhummit (www.woraburi.com)
After popping downstairs to the bar to cash in the free cup of cordial our room drink vouchers provided, we all piled into bed.

OK, I'll try again... Glad you are all there safely (tho can't believe the lost luggage, forgotten cc etc you poor souls!) The dates all being the 3rd make it confusing but I am sure you are all there safely now, hope you aren't too hot, wish we were with you, and Drummoyne won't be the same without any of you!!! Doug and I prayed for you all today and I am sure God has it all in control!! Look forward to reading more and checking you are OK regularly! With all our love, Jen Doug & Boys xxxxx
It's just me again, I checked out the site of the hotel and it looks just stunning! I laughed at the English tho, they have done such a good job of the web page and it looks so professional, so it is a pity that the English lets it down but also cute and endeering! That American Breakfast sounds yummy! I'll think of you all while I eat my weeties in the morning... Jen xxxx
Hi guys, praying for you all and thinking of you..wish we were there too!!! Bummer about Craig's luggage...but maybe a good opportunity for some cultural assimilation??? It would be great to see him in some thai fisherman pants! We will pray that those initial difficulites won't muck you up too much and that you can get on with some great work together. Much love, Anna and Clayts xxxx
I don't know what I'm doing, but if it works, the team member who I am writing to will be able to decode it.
