14 DEC - 3:30PM - MISSIONARY OF THE WEEK

We wrote down all the funny and significant stuff that had happened during our time here so that we could take a vote on the Missionary of the Week. (You might need to ask for further explanation when we return.)

1. Craig's (mis-spoken) claim that the NIV is the original language.
2. Dave Sampson catching Caitlin's spew in his blue mission hat.
3. Jono Graham teaching English with his fly undone.
4. Luke walking into the glass door.
5. Jo falling our of her bunk in the night.
6. Julian being proclaimed 'King Durian' at the school.
7. Linden getting footballs door to door in 24 hours.
8. At the orphanage - "Ben has no pants" - Pookie [AFL shorts]
9. Lauren realising that "Where is the toilet?" in Thai actually is not "hong naam urinai ka?"
10. Julian's premature departure from the Song Tao.
11. Lauren's discovery of an amazing new flora, "Loz! Loz!"
12. Astrid's delight of a night without kids and her marketplace strategy.
13. Deb's quick assimilation with Thai wildlife (speedy elephant and the cockroaches).
14. Sophie's appeal to half the teenage boys in Thailand - along with her young child (Caitlin)
15. Cathy's carefree award (not worrying about Jo falling out of bed)
16. Tim attempting to Wai for free stuff. (Did get a girl fan club)
17. Caitlin's high entertainment value. (Dancing, singing, support act, two fingers, cheek pinching.)
18. Jo's grasp of a new language (wardrobe = fridge)
19. Timmy fan club award (teenage girls in Thailand)
20. Jo's (unintentional) strip tease (due to Deb's carelessness)
21. Lauren - helping with self-esteem issues.
