6 DEC - 9:30AM - THAI JEOPARDY
Naan, a local married to an Alaskan missionary came and gave us a quick orientation to Thai culture. We did this by playing jeopardy - guys v girls. The outcome I'll leave you to guess. Questions included: Thai word for thing that smells very bad. Q: What does 'men' mean? ..This happens when you eat the last piece of fruit. Q: What do you have to do to get a good-looking boyfriend/girlfriend. (Thai custom joke). You will see this instead of a Kangaroo crossing sign...Q: When will you see an Elephant crossing sign?

I have full confidence in the women on the team,that they would have won the quiz, for they would know that the males on the team are at times 'men'.
I was just in IKEA today and I could understand 3 people discussing what colour rug they should buy. I was very excited because I could understand what they were saying and it was in Thai. It made me think of you all.
If they are in season, have some mangosteen/ mangukut for me.
The Little Bearzie and I pray for you throughtout the day, and often do the time calculation and work out what you're all up to.
You probably don't want to give Dave a hug & kiss for me, but how about you give him a stacks on for me so he knows we remember him.
