Craig bought us tickets & we piled onto the bus to Khorat (three hour drive).

Almost immeadiately after heading off, the attendant handed out packets of green sponge cake and plastic cups of coke. (There's nothing quite like a coke at 7:30AM after a night of little sleep :)

OBSERVATIONS...
Too often we see in Thailand that the worst elements of Western culture travel the quickest, and the best are often lost or slow in coming. Thankfully, compared to China, few people smoke here (perhaps the same proportion as Australia). In China people seem to smoke like chimmneys.
